Personal Time with the Models of Man Up: Lance's Q&A

Have you ever wanted to get a back stage pass and get to ask your favorite models about their experiences working for Man Up? Well now you have the chance!  From time to time here at Man Down we're going to be posting Q&A interviews with the models of Man Up.  Just click on the Q&A tab at the top of the page to access the links.  Do you have questions of your own that you'd like to have answered?  Post them in the comments section of the Q&A page and we'll do what we can to see them answered.

Our first Q&A interview is with the man himself, the creator, director, executive producer, and star model, Lance Hart. In the interview we get a little insight in to why Lance likes to make bb clips, his experiences starring and producing bb porn, and his intentions to expand Man Up! in to a membership pay-site. Below is just a snippet from the top of the Q&A with Lance.  Many thanks goes out to Lance for taking the time to answer our questions, and enjoy!

Getting Personal with: Lance

Q. When did you first know you were in to ball busting?

A. I've been obsessed by the idea of having my balls kicked since before I even knew what sex was. I used to fantasize about it all the time, and I still don't know why :)

Q. Can you describe what it feels like when you get hit in the nuts (is it all about the pain, the arousal, or both?)

A. I get turned on with every kick or knee or even threat. Sometimes pre-cum shoots out of my dick as I'm getting hit. It's not so much about the pain, I guess it's the idea of it. The more turned on I am, the less it hurts.

Q. In your experience, who have been the toughest ball busters, women or men?

A. Women are defiantly the toughest. I think men are more likely to be careful, and women can just go to town without any idea of how it feels, which kind of turns me on in itself.

Q. What made you start Man Up?

A. Well, I got a lot of encouragement from bbmal when I was corresponding with him about ideas for shoots for my She Owns store, so that's where the idea came from. I like it more than shooting for She Owns now, because the shoots are just more fun.

Q. Can you describe your casting process? (Is it difficult to get models to sign up for bb shoots compared to other porn/fetish productions?)

A. Ballbusting is a hard fetish to cast for. I need good looking guys that can take pain. Good looking guys are easy to find, but to find ones that will do gay work, and get hurt is really difficult. I recently found a fantastic gay recruiter from Miami that's been helping me a lot with this. His name is Mikey, and his company Acme Models.

I still recruit on my own, and try to find guys through word of mouth. I take all applicants through the clipstore and blog very seriously, but most of them never get back to me once I try to actually lock down a shoot. I think maybe they are typing to me with one hand :)

Q. How do you start when working with a new model? Do you practice before a shoot with some experimental ball busting so that you both know what to expect?

A. I always go through some test kicks, knees and stomps first before we shoot. Sometimes that gets pretty hot, so I recently filmed this process with our newest guy, Seth. It's important to understand everyone's thresholds. I've been in shoots for other productions as a model where my tolerances and limits were not respected, and it's awful. It's basically just torture.

Q. What's the worst bust you've taken so far in producing Man Up?

That's hard to say. I think Derek has taken some pretty hard busts. But then, Seth and Cameron had a few that really dropped them.

Q. What was the worst bust you've dealt to another model?

A. I think the worse I've hurt a model was was Derek. He really didn't see it coming. I kind of felt bad. Kind of…

Q. If you could go back and start over, is there anything you might change?

A. I don't know. Everything is going really well. I think I would have liked to have a bunch of content already built up before I launched Man Up. Now I'm always in a scramble to keep up with everything. But that's a good thing.

Q. Where would you like to see things going in the next 12 months?

A. I definitely want to have a stand alone website with subscriptions, and some way for the models to interact with the viewers. It's easier said than done, but it's the next step.

Thanks again for making all our bb-dreams coming true, and keep up the good work Lance!
